I grew up in Pittsburgh. I have a BA in English lit and an MBA in marketing, both from the University of Chicago. I spent 25 years in brand management before becoming a full-time writer. I have a daughter in college in Philly, a son working as a web engineer in DC, and a daughter-in-law set to join the family in September. I live with my husband and adorable dog (the husband’s pretty adorable, too, come to think of it) in a condo overlooking Pittsburgh.
